With work about to start on the station upgrade, this information notice is now displayed in the Interchange car park. The first job wil be to demolish the existing platform 3 during the second half of September, requiring station closure over the weekends of 17th/18th and 24th/25th. Completion of the whole project is expected next June – hopefully just in time for the Tall Ships event
